The Special Needs Experience
SNEX.Life is a space for YOU, Parents and Caregivers of children and adults with special needs.
This is likely not the life you expected nor chose. You have been on this journey for a while - or maybe you're just starting out and not sure where to begin. You are probably exhausted, overwhelmed, and lonely. You may have been searching for answers for your special child that will make a difference and little has helped and it sometimes feels like no one is listening.
My hope is that you will feel connected, supported, and cared for while finding a few things to help you and your child.
Lessons learned are best shared. What works for one may work for some! If I as a SpecialNeedsMom have struggled and then found something that helped me help my child, then I can share what I learned to help other parents while hopefully making their experience a little bit easier! There is power and strength in working, sharing and being connected!
We have more in common with each other than we do with our neighbours. So let's support each other, pay it forward, and make some friendships along the way. As a parent or caregiver of a child with special needs our life is different than we imagined while experiencing a huge range of emotions, which often leaves us overwhelmed and exhausted. Learn how to care for yourself while caring for your loved one(s).
Work With Me
For both you and your children, I offer support with clinical nutrition, diet, meal plans, picky eating, blenderized diets, and parenting. For those local I'm available to work with you in person or by phone. I also work remotely with clients around the world.
